Bearcat-Doug | 5,125
I guess I'll start it this year since @BriGuy82 is slacking with the regular season getting ready to start soon. Let's talk some baseball!
Kguillemette | 1,634
The addition of Story makes the Boston lineup look so studly. Even if Dalbec doesn't set the world on fire like he did in the second half of last season, it's looking like a classic lineup of reliable table setters and meat sticks to drive them in! Hopefully the collection of geriatrics that Bloom signed to fill the rotation out can hold up. If they can, we might be looking at another deep playoff run. Go Sox! Bearcat-Doug | 5,125
The Reds traded away about half of what was a mediocre team to begin with, so about the only way this season is going to be tolerable is if they manage to hit on a bunch of those high draft picks from the past few years. Reed Rothchild | 9,971 Editorials Team ·
A's traded away the whole team AND gave their manager their blessing to go elsewhere Oh well, there's always 2027
Bearcat-Doug | 5,125
It's a good thing that the Reds won on opening day. They might not see a winning record the rest of the season.
Ausden | 323
White Sox have 2 SPs, 1 3rd baseman, 1 outfielder out within 4 days of the season starting and 1 middle reliever (their best) out for the year to get Tommy John surgery. Oh this is going to be a great season!
Bearcat-Doug | 5,125
Hunter Greene looked solid in his first MLB start. Nick Lodolo should get a start this week too, so it will be interesting to see what the Reds top two pitching prospects can do.

ICrappedMyPants | 302
The Cubs took two out of three against the Brewers. I can’t complain. I went to the game yesterday and it was fun despite the loss.

ICrappedMyPants | 302
The Reds are embarrassing this year. I figured it would be a race to the bottom this year, but they’re crushing the surprisingly competitive Pirates and Cubs.
Reed Rothchild | 9,971 Editorials Team ·
A's accidentally start 8-6 Front Office: "Hmm, what can we do to stop that? Who else is left to trade?"

ICrappedMyPants | 302
They finally won, beating the hated Cardinals. I was at yesterday’s Cubs game. It was under 3 hours despite the 21-0 score.
Kguillemette | 1,634
Angel Hernandez is really pulling some double duty here with the retirement of Joe West. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if they lose 100 games this year.
Bearcat-Doug | 5,125
Nothing sums up how the Reds season has gone so far like throwing a no hitter and still losing.
