It's Worth WHAT?!

So you're cancelling your Netflix account? I would consider that a big mistake by them.

My game wasn't damaged, they sent it back to Wata, Wata opened it and it was some artifact that got inside there during casing. It was rehoused with the same grade and no extra damage.

I understand being upset with stories of damage but you're upset with Wata for deficiencies in the acrylic holders? They don't make those, they're all made by an external company so Wata has no control over them. It's like boycotting Wal-Mart because their bags keep breaking when you carry your items to your car. Wal-Mart doesn't make the bags.

Once again, I don't defend Wata, I don't even collect sealed games. And I certainly don't collect as an investment (I never sell anything).

you saying WATA isn't responsible for their cases is equivalent to saying Netflix isn't responsible for their porn DVD incidence; there is always somebody else to push the blame onto.

but i don't and never have had Netflix. but i have thought of this scenario.  if, hypothetically, i had netflix and i received a porn DVD and said porn DVD negatively impacted me in some way, like my young niece watching it, then yes, i would more than likely cancel.

This isn't showing the entire thing, but I was more shocked how this worked out and this is now, not in the past.  These expired on ebay at least once before I saw it, went up for $5 with best offer and no takers.  ONe of them didn't work, the other had mysterious sticky stuff on the battery door and wouldn't stay closed (hmm tape?) but worked.  I figured I'd contact the guy see if he'd do anything, no... about 6+ hours before they closed out he canned them.  I wrote the dude with a what's up with that, and he is friendly and throws an offer of $30+shipping for the pair.  They arrived over the weekend and well the thing was tape, and it did work, and the other that supposedly didn't...does.  Didn't take more than a little to be safe vinegar on the terminals of both followed with an alcohol bath.  They both work, one is CIB.

Look up gba famicom adapter on ebay (default settings) sold, and you'll see a complete one can hit between $150-200 depending on the shape, even loose can get to the lower end of that.

It's the AdFami, a famicom that slaves a GBA/SP using the buttons and screen to play games, and while the sound is a little off, and lacks the ability to do expanded audio, works, and better than even modern cart using devices like a Pokefami Plus I have.  It's crazy, proof of concept, Akamajo Densetsu worked of all things, infamous VRC6 that fails.

Japanese made device from 2004/Gametech, lasts 5 hours on a set of batteries from 20 years ago, so I'd figure a little more or same now.  It's nice, has a few basic functions to mess with the screen as well for color, clarity, brightness etc.  I just liked the idea of it, figured out after I threw interest at it what it was worth and was stunned.
