Game Debate #214: The Legend of Zelda - The Wind Waker

Never played it, but I would like to.  I'm not a fan of the specific art style for Link, but I do enjoy the cel shading art style for the rest of the game.

Back then I had no idea it was “the thing” to hate on Wind Waker  for the art. All the kids I knew were talking about the PS2 and couldn’t give two shakes about what was going on with Zelda. It was all about GTA Vice City.

I didn’t come to realize the general “popular” hatred for Wind Wakers art style until I started collecting in 2011/12. 

I get it, I can think of something it's not gaming.  That utterly shit cartoon with 3 idiots and looking like it was drawn by a kid with parkinsons cartoon network ran it's utterly unwatchable to watch or follow that Ed edd eddy dumpster fire.  I'd not just want to flip the channel if i hit it, it made me want to turn the tv off.
