Rage Quitting & Frustration -- the Thread

I think the single-maddest I ever was at a game in my 30+ years of playing them, was still the Goron race in Majora's Mask on N64. I even had the strategy guide; it wasn't a matter of not knowing what to do or where to go. The actual race itself has such a small margin of error, everything has to go perfectly and you're essentially forced to speed run it.

I think I put my fist through the strategy guide at one point lmao.

I never rage quit, but I would drop the controller in frustration while trying to finish the rat race level of Battletoads

I'm not one to throw controllers or have a fit over frustrating games - but it's not uncommon that I find myself slumping down in my chair, heaving an overly dramatic sigh, and staring blankly at the screen for a few moments when I lose the same level of a game for the millionth time.

And that's when I turn-on save states - cuz I'm a shameless, no-good, cheatin' scoundrel.

I picked it up for the 360 since the expansions were originally Xbox exclusive and played through it again, choosing the opposite of my choices the first time (which McCreary brother to take out, etc).   I don't know how many dozens of times I hit that ramp wrong.
