Kid Dracula | 126
Do trades still go down? I got into a funny one with a friend where he needed a couch and we were getting rid of ours. We were gonna figure out a price but funds were an issue for him. We worked out a trade that ended up completing my Shatterhand cart! I haven't added a new piece to the collection in a looooong while and this brings me down to 35 boxes/manuals left (20 something carts). Tell me about some of your best or funny trades over the years.

The Count | 598
I installed some angel-eye LEDs on my friend's new Camaro and he gave me a Xardion cart. I'd have done it for free though, haha.
Dr. Morbis | 2,120
I traded an old couch for a broken cocktail Space Invaders arcade machine once, a long time ago. I did get it working, but I sold it off when I got an upright SI, as having two of the same arcade game seemed rather redundant...
Foochie776 | 1,070
Down to 20 carts you say? I’d be rushing to eBay to just finish it out. Lol

jonebone | 1,329
Interesting trade! My most unusual was with @Braveheart69 many years ago. He traded me all that was leftover of his childhood Cal Ripken collection (binders / screw downs / etc.) for a few sealed NES games, and threw in some Black Box CIBs to "even it out". Don't find too many video game collectors who both collected Cal Ripken specifically in their childhood!
Reed Rothchild | 9,932 Editorials Team ·
Secret of Mana for Chrono Trigger AND Final Fantasy III AND the FFIII NP guide. 6th grade. And by trade I mean the kid (Zane) had decided he was keeping my Mana - with a smirk - so I told him that was fine, I'd keep all of his stuff. The dumbass wisened up a week later, and I unfortunately let him have his stuff back.
fcgamer | 5,015
I traded some SFC stuff to @OptOut for this lovely painting. Actually, he has one more painting that I'd dearly love to have, I hope sometime he'll trade me something for that one too.
LostLevel83 | 87
Traded a handful of easily sellable vintage games for a 20” PVM a few years back. They needed funds and I had been looking for a gaming monitor. It was win-win.
T-Pac | 7,893 Graphics Team ·
There have been a couple times where I've done some design/artwork in exchange for video games. It was a lot more fun than clicking 'buy it now' on ebay and paying out of pocket haha. -CasualCart
