    • 10/10 - One of your very favorite movies of all time. Top 10.
    • 9/10 - Killer fucking movie. Everyone should watch it.
    • 8/10 - Great movie. Maybe one of the best released that year.
    • 7/10 - Very good movie, but not quite great.
    • 6/10 - Pretty good. You might enjoy the occasional watch, or tune in if you happen to catch it on cable.
    • 5/10 - It's okay, but maybe not something you'll go out of your way to watch.
    • 4/10 - Meh. There's plenty of better alternatives to this.
    • 3/10 - Not very good.

    • 1/10 - Horrible in every way.
    • 0/10 - The Citizen Kane of painful experiences. You'd rather shove an icepick in your retinas than watch this.

Hey now. I've seen plenty of movies, I'm just kinda picky about it. You're not exactly out here posting 70's/80's slasher flicks.

As much as I'd be down for threads for Sleepaway Camp and Black Christmas, I don't know that they'll be in the cards 😛

13 Assassins, Beyond Outrage, Black Death, Blackthorne, The Hunter, Magnolia, Perfect Guest, Flawless, Goon, God Bless America, and Highrise were all standouts for me.

Goon is fantastic. Really underrated sports movie.

None of those would get more than 3-5 votes.  Even the one I have in mind is a stretch.

And Magnolia is a NewLine movie.  That is one I have at least been considering.  For what should be obvious reasons.

That's too bad. If you don't mind subtitles 13 Assassins is probably one of my favorite action movies. It's got some pretty dark spots.

It's pretty meh, honestly.  I even revisited Blade Runner earlier this year and I still didn't really like it.

On paper, it's got everything to be among my favorites: director, the source material, actors, dystopian future setting, robots.  Unfortunately the execution just falls flat.  I want to like it so bad, but it kinda sucks.

So it's like the Colorado of movies? 😂

So basically it's the state equivalent to corn? If corn was a state, it would be Nebraska.

Flatter than a pancake (which could be a cornmeal pancake!  (Although the western 2/3 of Montana is, if anything, even flatter,)

And South Dakota does have the corn palace!

Eastern Montana?  Because we don't claim any of that. In fact, we gave it away to North Dakota in exchange for a couple hundred beers.

Yeah - meant eastern - I once had the misfortune to travel to Great Falls and back from Minnesota.

The only thing worthwhile was stopping at the Little Big Horn and the chateau in Medora,  (It says a lot about a state (North Dakota) that the only incorporated town in one of the counties is 115 people or so.)

This is the business district of Medora.  No doubt they would roll up the sidewalks (if they had any) at 4:00 pm each evening.
