Even if I ignore all the data, news, etc and only go of personally expierence from people I directly know or have one degree of seperation: Three co-workers have had, one of which was in the hospital for a month. A couple business clients have passed away from it. A family friend is in ICU. Family friend's parents have died. Several of my family members are nurses, all agree about the severity.
