BortLicensePlate | 652
Yeah my plan of attack is to work on building up 4 high, as flat as possible to accommodate most pieces. Once I hit 4 high, favor the left side when you're stacking but still keep it kinda flat, or a gentle slope, with a 2 wide gap at the far right. The 2 wide gap like @Sumez mentioned, is great for dumping a piece you dont have a spot for but also very easy to burn some lines the during a drought. You have to be comfortable burning as much as necessary until the I piece comes. I know I used to always worry about taking a loss on points but it's better to survive while you have too. Once you're good with that it's just consistency and execution. Until level 19 of course which is balls.

mbd39 | 2,098
I tend to play very aggressively which is fine until the game refuses to give any more long pieces. I tell myself to be careful and burn more, but then I'll still go dangerously high and be wiped out by bad rng.

Good info! The idea is the long bar is 4 blocks wide (even number) when it appears. Since it starts as an even width, the centre is not a block, but it needs to rotate on a block. So it has to favor one side when you rotate it. It happens to be the right side that it favors

0xDEAFC0DE | 1,277
210,240 Just in the nick of time. (lol at that lv 19 163k score) 196,480 So close to 200k 171,600 This is the first time I've had a level change on 15. I topped out pretty quickly afterwards. Unfortunately, my game wasn't particularly clean beforehand. 159,680 This was a pb by 2k. I never really played much NES tetris (at least compared to a lot of you guys). So there goes my lead in the puzzle category. I'll consider myself lucky if I get more than 3 points by the time this week is over.
