SNESNESCUBE64 | 606
Nope, I don't have my first tv unfortunately. I remember it being a little baby 13 inch tv but I don't remember much about it. I do remember playing gamecube on it though which was super cool. acromite53 | 338
Thats cool you have your original. I went through a series of upgrades until I settled with my Trinitron. We dropped it on the front steps bringing it into the house but it still works! Edited February 13, 2021 by acromite53
Bearcat-Doug | 5,122
My dad still has the TV I played on as a kid. It doesn't work anymore, but it's one of those huge 1970s Zenith floor models, so I guess he would rather use it for a shelf instead of getting rid of it. CMR | 538
We had a hand-me-down TV from our parents. After a while the color circuit died and it was stuck in black and white till it died. I remember the power switch was one of those knobs you pulled out and twisted to adjust the volume.
LutherDestroysTheGond | 717
My mom lost her house a couple years ago and the tv I grew up playing NES on went with it. I wanted to go back for it and other stuff but never had a chance to. Cool that you still have your tv

(literally driving out of the drive way as i came up) its a long story but basicly the guy thought the people he gave the tv to was me. he was sorry and he had anather tv in the back it wasnt as good but it did the job for about 6 months. then i found another one (same model i tried to get before) and got that and that been my gaming tv from then on. 165lbs tv up the stairs isnt easy though... AstralSoul | 522
Still have my 19" Toshiba from 1997, from my teenage years. So not necessarily the one from childhood, those are long gone, but I've always kept this CRT for my old games even when I got HDTVs. Ironically it still works as great as it did on the day that I got it, and I've since gone through 3 HDTVs that have broke on their own. They just don't make em like they used to. fox | 1,759
Well I started on some hand me down 13" tv prob from my grandfather, no clue what happened to that. I do still have a 19" CRT from the mid 00s with game hookups in the front. I haven't really tried hooking up old school systems to it. Maybe I'll give it a shot. trj22487 | 350
My grandparents still worked when they passed but I never would have been able to get it into my apartment....one of the ones from the 70s with 500lbs of wood....funny enough my TV/VHS/DVD combo from 2003 didn't even make it as long as that thing did
a3quit4s | 4,344
I had a little 16” TV in my room the year or so after I got NES. I remember it sitting on the cardboard box it came in for years because we couldn’t afford something else to put it on. Simpler times
