I've played other games but this one is the gift that keeps on giving. I thought I was crazy! I unify China at least once a year. I completely broke the game tho so its magic dimmed a bit lol Did you play it on NES? Surprisingly good. 1
TDIRunner | 2,898
I finally finished Portal 2. I really enjoyed that game for the second time. It really felt like a new game because so much time had passed. I ordered Little Nightmares 2 and it's supposed to arrive today, and if it does, that will probably be my next game. The first game was a lot of fun, so I'm looking forward to the sequel.

Worth every penny of its ludicrous aftermarket price. But the SNES one has all the Hot Keys and you can swap to map with L/R. Much much much faster for blitzing around the menus. I also prefer each province having its own color for the ruler. Easier to see than the little flags. Very very cool to hear that someone else plays it still, too

Very very cool to hear that someone else plays it still, too I send dozens of forged letters and use betrayal on WAR 80+ generals and save/reset until they agree to switch sides and I farm Luo Yang for war spoils so there’s no question I’m filling the map super easy. Its just a matter of putting in the time and clerical work to achieve it lol. Still love it.
Sumez | 3,156
I finished the delightfully short Blaster Master Zero, and immediately moved on to the sequel, having recently received both from LRG. And, damn the sequel is a massive improvement, it feels like the improvement the Blaster Master series has needed ever since the first game, and by extent what the first BMZ should have been. It's also immediately my second favourite Inti Creates game (below COTM), though that's not saying too much on its own. The boss fights are interesting and creative, and the top down shooting levels have all been made a lot more entertaining than the pointless walking around from the previous game and the original. noiseredux | 232
about 6 hours into Bravely Default II and it's kind of a mess. The pacing feels really rough, jobs seems to unlock pretty slowly, and I don't have the same time to devote to grinding that I used to have. I'm probably gonna tough it out for a few more hours and see if my tune changes, but so far I'd place it below the other Bravely games, and its loose brethren (4 Heroes Of Light, Octopath...

Kguillemette | 1,613
I just started playing Rocksmith for 360. I am super impressed with this one. It's a guitar teaching tool disguised as a solid rhythm game that uses your TV as an amp! For someone that used to get frustrated with trying to teach myself guitar and give up after several attempts, this one grabbed me. I had instant progress as it guides you to tune your guitar and start playing the main riff to "Satisfaction" by Rolling Stones within the first 5 minutes of starting this up. It has me learning notes string by string and the whole process is super unintimidating. You plug any electric guitar into the included "RealTone" cable. I just got the cheapest one I could find on eBay ($60) because I wasn't sure how much I would take to it. This thing is the real deal. This is what I wish guitar hero was. Couldn't recommend this enough to anyone with even a passing interest in learning guitar from scratch. Tanooki | 5,121
I popped in FF9 physical release for Switch Friday night, did more this afternoon too and got up into Lindblum, slept it though, needs a save but it's talking to regent oglop now. I do like the quality of life changes, optional changes too. One of the most aggravating parts of that game was the early bit with those 3 evil mages. Having had to re-watch that drivel due to the save on the first, I popped on a 1 shot kill for that a second time, had it coming.

I just started ZOE2 last night. It's already so much better than ZOE in terms of gameplay. Main Character can be a bit "extra" but much better than Leo. I already play guitar pretty well, but I figured it would be a fun way to learn some songs and familiarize myself with some chords I don't use regularly. Glad you're enjoying it.
Sumer | 221
Started playing FF1 on the NES Classic. I have beaten FF1 only ever on the PS1 Origins remake. I want to beat the original ROM, though. I had this game for the NES as a kid, but always hated that my heroes would never target a new enemy after their assigned enemy was vanquished by someone else! I am glad FFII (IV) fixed that on the SNES. Anyway, I am over that problem now and have more patience (I think!). But, I went with what I guess is considered easy mode? 3 Figthers and 1 Red Mage. It also helps that the Classic lets you save anywhere during the game. Being in my 40s with four active kids, I need all the help I can get to beat the original ROM as quickly as possible. Webhead123 | 753
Played and beat Captain Commando with my two sons on the Capcom Beat-em-Up Bundle on Switch. Not a bad brawler for what it is but not particularly noteworthy in any regard. And even for a quarter-hog arcade beat-em-up, it's difficulty is pretty darn cheap, especially the last 2 stages, where the screen just gets impossibly filled with enemies and the bosses have some attack behaviors that basically require you to take hits in order to get in to attack them. Still, it does allow 3-player simultaneous action, so that's a nice plus. We're talking of playing Battle Circuit next, which is a brawler with a bit more uniqueness to it and one I've found to be quite fun in the past.
