Dusting off the ole magic ball of the predication list A Boy and his Blob was the first published game from Absolute in January 1990. It's the only of the 5 games they published that does not have a game specific poster (based on my research) nor a game specific registration card. This release should have only come with a Nintendo Power insert from Spring 1989 to Spring 1990. Which could have been PMG-MW-USA, PMG-PT-USA, PMG-QU-USA or PMG-VR-USA. I went with PMG-VR-USA for my list. I didn't include any warning sheet because the data of verified opening running Nov 89 - Feb 90 only presented 2 instance of the warning label NES-USA (Championship Bowling and Kings of the Beach). Absolute showed no instances of secondary advertisement (i.e. watch offers or promotions). I have it marked as a flat black sleeve since I never kept track of the variants. That's my notes on A Boy and a Blob. If you have anything else let me know. Edit: I just did a quick search and this popped up as a registration card: ABS-NES-US. (2 different listings) so there had to be a registration card at some point...... something new to go chase now urrrrgh Edited August 2, 2020 by Mr. CIB 2

Also, where did you get the info for Mendel Palace on your site? Sorry, I missed the first time you asked. I only add verified inserts to my list so someone must have opened them at some point. Don't recall which ones. I'll have some extra income soon so IF I get the collecting bug again and IF I don't go after a different set, I'll grab a few more sealed games to contribute. My little prediction sheet got them all beside the NP insert which I can't figure out any rhyme or reason to how those 4 were assigned. Must have been truly randon.

I've been meaning to do more but since I also make videos of the process it requires more time which I haven't had much of this year. I cannot overstate how GREATLY appreciated this is. It looks like it's time for me to do another update of the main list later this week, and it's 100% because of your contributions. Thanks once again for all of your input so far, and for anything else that may come down the pipe in the future
