Youtube thumbs like this are aimed at kids cuz they get a kick out of it; call me old but it's super cringe. I'm personally not against this. And I appreciate the kind words. If nobody thinks it's untowards, I'd be happy to set this up. I'd also not be against badges for other peoples' charity drives, as long as it doesn't get out of hand. Don't wanna play favorites if it can be helped. I'm working on a piece for my DnD character, an undead dragonborn. I'm juuuuust about done the line work I think.

I've been quite busy today and I knew this thread happened but haven't really had time to read through until just now. I'm really happy that we've been able to preserve, above all else, the community that was built on NA. And as has been said, honestly, the best parts of it. We seem to have shaken off much of the stigma, and I think we've proven that a clean slate can be the saving grace for some things. Regardless of any site sales or anything else of the sort that may have happened, I think myself and many others were feeling a bit disheartened at the state of things near the end there. But honestly with the way this is going we could well have called this place Video Game Phoenix for the flame it's lit in the community; I don't think in my time at NA I ever saw it as active as VGS has been, and it's only getting better. It's all thanks to you all, really. You gave the place a chance and I think in it we've all felt something that was missing for a long time - a chance to MAKE something, from the ground up. And it's all up from here, baby. Happy birthday, everyone.

Making create account the default is a method used to make it easier to sign up in the first place. It's not a great user experience as we've learned over the years, but this wasn't uncommon for a time. It should definitely be updated.

It's a bit difficult to be "competitive" on mobile, simply due to reaction speed not being so great with a touch screen. Beyond that it's still enjoyable enough.

They're promo, demo, or won through a contest. This was done primarily to prevent people from taking them to stores to return them for refund. I believe they can still be graded as sealed, but I think they ding you on condition.
