After collecting some feedback from people, we've added a new feature to the Classifieds/Market section of the site! Now, whenever you create a Classified, the system will automagically create a topic in the appropriate section of the forum AS WELL, and the two will be linked together. With this update you will get more eyes on your listings with using the Classifieds system, as people will see it in their activity streams in the case that they have it filtered to only show the latest posts (or anything like that). The thread that is automatically created will have the same basic info as the listing, and a link to it so people can check out the photos etc.. FURTHER! The system will also automatically add to the beginning of your thread title an appropriate tag: [FS/O/T] or [WTB]. So don't worry about adding those to your listing, we do it for you! Please consider the automatic threads as REAL threads, feel free to post in them, bump them if you like to do so manually, etc.. The only thing I'd ask is that you not manually create any duplicates. We'd like people to continue to stick to one active thread at a time, per category. Any questions or further feedback let us know! Example Activity Stream now:

OP asked for the BEST version of each game. Obviously personal opinion plays a big part, hence mine and Magus' lists being different, but generally more people today will enjoy the PS1 or GBA version of FF1 more than those of us who grew up playing it. I personally LOVE the NES version of FF, but to call it the "best" version would be willful ignorance. The GBA version is the one I've played the most of, largely for it's mix of speed, difficulty, and extra content.

One of the earliest things I learned when learning professional chess was "never trade". The person who initiates a trade is nearly ALWAYS giving away advantage. Simply NEVER initiate a trade and you'll almost instantly find your game improving.

I'd just buy Halo MCC on PC if you wanna play Halo.

1 & 2 - GBA (alt: PS1 if you don't wanna play on handheld) 3 - Only (legal) option is the 3D model version originally released on NDS. It's available on other platforms so pick the one you like, it's the same on all. 4 - PSP; note that the followup game also on PSP is kinda trash, I'd just skip it 5 - GBA 6 - SNES 7-10(& X-2) - Personal preference will make the call; HD remasters exist for basically everything here forward and none are terrible. 11 - You COULD play FF11 still, but it's an MMO. The campaign is still in tact and there's a TON to do, and people still play it. BUT you'll never get the true original experience ever again. Is the story worth playing? Yes, actually. Up to you if you're into MMOs in general, as you'll be doing a lot of level grinding between campaign missions. 12 - PS2; the International Zodiac system was added to the HD remasters, AND they made it easier on top of that. If you want super easy and to rush through, go HD remake (there's a fast forward feature) but if you want the true experience go PS2 (and it's worth doing so IMO) 13 (and it's sequels) - PS3 14 - PC; originally released on PS3 as well, not available to play on there anymore. It's still available on PS4 if you really wanna play on console, but PC will be the best experience if you have a computer that can run it well enough (my wife used to play on a laptop!) 15 - PS4
