I don't like the term "colored" because it's a very "white" and "others" kind of term. You're either "colored" or "white" with that terminology and I feel like that's just another shitty separation thing. I call black people black, and thus far nobody has had a problem with that. Generally speaking though, I call people by their names.

You do know how that looks though right? Come on man. If you think I'm being passive aggressive I can tell you you're just reading too much into whatever it is you think I'm saying. I'm like the most transparent, least passive person you'll come across. Like I say, we were deliberating on how to handle your avatar. General consensus was that it's not warning worthy, but it is removal worthy. How you were messaged depended on that outcome. You took to publicly talking about it so I figured I may as well address it here. That said, I think that's all I'll say publicly. If there's an actual issue pm me (or someone else) and we'll make sure it's ironed out.

I use a similar service to get Gloves Off Games shirts printed (made to order, one at a time), but like you say, way more expensive. Honestly the margins are super low, and again, me getting my own single shirt cost like $30 shipped.

If you don't like a user's avatar to the point of reporting it, and then we disagree with your report, you always have the option of ignoring a user so you'll personally never see it. That said, if it gets reported and you're not just trolling, we're fairly likely to remove it I think. We want people to be comfortable as much as we can, without outright denying peoples' ability to post about stuff. Frankly if it's an avatar it's like... not a big loss ya know? If your avatar made someone uncomfortable I'd say just be decent and find a new one. That's not directed at you personally, just a general statement.

BA and doner can speak better to this than I as they're in charge of the apparel, but my understanding is that we've gone with a vendor that we (doner) know and trust makes good quality stuff. We went with a relatively large order to save money per shirt so we can pass that on to you all, while also funding the site a bit (I believe $20 shipped anywhere is pretty reasonable, considering shipping one shirt to me from the States would normally cost me, the buyer, $15 for shipping alone). With a service like SpreadShop we're making commission on sales (generally 10-20% of revenue); that'd be like a dollar per shirt; our way the site gets much more money in the virtual coffer.

Nobody has said anything to you because we were still deliberating over whether or not to issue a warning about it. No warning has been given so your account is not flagged, but the general takeaway is that we want the site to be SFW for general browsing. A person who doesn't want tits all over their screen will likely stay away from the thread titled "FS: 3DO Adult Titles". Besides that, I don't think there's anything overtly NSFW about the thread you're referring to. That said if people disagree we could always ask that he remove the offending material and say that photos are available on request. Your avatar, however, will pop up anywhere you post, and thus can be a "surprise" nsfw element. It was reported to us and deemed inappropriate, and removed thus. What is considered appropriate or not is up to the discretion of the mod team; if you think something is inappropriate you can report it and they'll handle it as they see fit based on our rules.
