It's pretty bad, though I've played it enough that it's quite easy for me. I can knock it out in a day. If you WANT to play it go for it, I'll leave it be.

My stepdad would sit and play games with us. Sounds lovely right? Except that he'd get frustrated and take the controller away if we didn't play perfectly. It really sucked on collectathon games like Glover or DK64 cuz if we didn't pick up every collectible and 100% every game he'd be all pissy about it. Made playing games hell.

I wouldn't worry about stepping on toes, it's all for fun. People aren't allowed to claim games, and even if they were I don't see Koi making any mention at all of having started playing Red. If he's ticked I'm sure it's just at the universe, not like, actually pissed off at you for "taking" a game he was playing. I'd encourage you to continue playing and contributing, it's good to see.

It took him 3 hours to get from cinnabar to game done. I'd consider that slow.

Definitely not near as many as in past years, but certainly a decent few. Maybe in the 20 or so range.

OK, I'll do it sometime soonish, unless someone else decides they want to suffer.

Hey all! Thanks to @Jeevan for kickin' me in the tush to look into this, I have fixed it so you can now auto-pay for your VGS subscription! If you're currently subscribed and want to set up auto-renewals (no more pesky monthly email, PayPal will handle it!), you may have to unsub then re-sub to enable it. Alternatively (I'm not 100% sure), you may be able to do so through Manage Purchases in the Store. Just check off "Pay renewal costs automatically" and it'll be all set for you. Thanks again to all who are supporting the site, you're helping us to keep going and enabling us to do some pretty cool stuff for the community! You all rock!

I have to look into exactly how that system works. I'm fearful that fiddling with it will turn off peoples' subs, but it's a risk I'll have to take and just make an announcement if so, so people know to re-sub.

The mega man is there cuz I've made sales on the system that you can't see. @spacepuphas one too I think, from testing it out with me. It won't likely be mega man when it launches though. Of course I say thin knowing full well that people will want it to be mega man.

It's being worked on. Normally I can hide things from the general populace, and work on it in the background. It'd take a bit of extra work to do so for this feature so I basically said fuck it, let em see. You can't really DO anything with it right now, but yes, long story short is that something is in the works. I'm working out some kinks now, slowly but surely.

You can comment on stores, yes. You can also leave reviews. Have at it, I encourage it. At the moment, no, you can't check stuff off as owned, it's not a collection, it's a database. But maybe I can work something out for a collection tracker. It's on the list of considerations for sure. We could do a magazines/guides dB down the road, I don't see why not.

I think you should play them all but if I was stuck on an island I'd want 2 with me, mostly because it's the one I had as a kid. That said, having played all 3, I do think 2 is the most well balanced and entertaining.
