  1. I wonder who has this painting. @Bronty ???
  2. Yeah I always wondered why Square hasn’t done a Chrono Trigger remaster. Then I realized its probably because its so good that they wouldn’t be able to outdo it.
  3. Since I am able to work remotely they still expect me to work from home on my laptop even when I’m sick
  4. Hmm. For some reason I was thinking it was monthly
  5. Consumer spending down even when everyone gets an extra $1200 each month?
  6. It bounced back.... like a dead cat
  7. The SNES has the Nakitek game saver, which I believe is what was posted above. I have an extra one I can get rid of. They are not too desirable because they use AA batteries and the save state is only preserved as long as the batteries are good and this thing burns through batteries. Its good if you are playing a difficult game that you want to keep loading your state on when you mess up. It’s not so good for saving progress to continue from at a later date
  8. That’s interesting. Is it common for this game to have no seal ?
  9. It will come out after Nintendo approves their design for the Samus armor
  10. This certainly is a huge tragedy as many older people are succumbing to this virus.
  11. If we have a recession: Unfortunately there will be layoffs. I’m guessing CIB and sealed prices will pull back pretty significantly as people will liquidate valuable collectibles for cash so they can pay the bills.
  12. The North American limited collectors edition didn’t cost anything extra. If you preordered it directly from Capcoms online store, they would make the first ‘x’ number of preorders the limited version
  13. Does anyone care to answer the question in the original post? Is there any physical difference between the limited collectors edition and the regular game? Or do they just give you an extra leaflet with a dlc code for music on the limited version?
  14. Speaking of Secret of Evermore.. I don’t know why everyone says Mana is better. I find Evermore so much more enjoyable that Mana. Mana is kind of repetitive and boring
  15. I disagree. Gamestop basically makes nothing on New game sales. It’s a service they offer just to get people into the store. Gamestop cash cow is the used games business. Nintendo is seeing the majority of their sales through the digital storefront. This is accessible to everyone directly from the eshop built into the console. If Gamestop disappears, Target, Walmart, Best Buy and Amazon would immediately absorb all of Gamestop’s market share of New Game sales. And Nintendo couldn’t care less about the disappearance of used game sales, it earns them zero money. So in short, GameStop needs Nintendo. But Nintendo doesn’t need GameStop
  16. Reggie is already retired. He’s probably just accepting the offer because he’s bored. A lot of elderly retired people will take on part time jobs in restaurants and in retail. It’s a very low risk move - If things don’t work out for them, they can just walk away and they still have their retirement to look forward to.
  17. Another possibility is we could be at a peak going into recession. In the past collectibles would increase steadily leading up to a recession, then people liquidate during the hard times bringing the value of collectibles back to a reasonable level. This is not to say Gamecubes base value isn’t increasing, I’m just saying it’s possible that collectibles as a whole are a little inflated and could possibly get corrected if the economic situation doesn’t improve soon
  18. Yea people are only hoarding modern TP because they think it will be worth something someday. But it won’t be cuz it’s too common. Everyone was just using vintage TP to wipe with them tossed it out, nobody thought to keep it. That’s why it’s so hard to come by and everyone wants it so bad
  19. Why are game boxes so rare? Because everyone threw them out. Same goes for vintage TP.
  20. Reading through this thread, I get the impression that there are not that many
  21. It’s all 4 Megaman Zero games plus 2 Megaman ZX games ported to Switch
  22. I pre-ordered this direct from Capcom. Still haven’t even gotten a shipping confirmation and it’s been out in stores for like 9 days now! Has anyone else ordered direct from Capcom? What was your experience?? Also if anyone ordered the limited collectors edition, did it have any physical differences or did they just throw in a download code or something?
  23. When toys r us declared bankruptcy, they were ordered by the court to liquidate their merch so they could pay some of their debt obligations. From that point, they started clearance sales. They also announced that they would be continuing to accept gift card credit balances until a specified date. They made a pretty good effort to communicate that the gift card balances were only spendable until that cutoff. It was in the media, posted on door signs, on the front of their website, etc
