  1. We're trying to help the locals, too, with more takeout. For stuff that doesn't travel well, we just eat in the car outside the restaurant. Plus it gives us one of the few acceptable excuses to get out of the house.
  2. Very Nice! I have the full set, but less than half of them are boxed. Wonder why they sold Richard Scarry separately from the console - maybe for people needing replacements for ones the kids destroyed? <edit> Took another look at my set: 12 boxed and 8 loose, so I'm further along than I thought </edit>
  3. And so ends one of the more interesting NCAA basketball seasons in recent memory. Stupid virus!
  4. No Way, Jose. There are a fair number of titles rarer than Air Raid, and all it would take is 1 guy refusing to sell his one-of-a-kind game to torpedo anyone trying for a truly complete set.
  5. Monogrammed Space Chase (2 copies), Ultravision Karate (3), Gauntlet (6), Eli's Ladder (15), Video Life (20), Magicard (23), and Pepsi Invaders (28) all fit the bill, too. Numbers are subject to change. I didn't think Music Machine was that rare, though. There have also been a number of games, e.g. Cat Trax, where a single working prototype has been found.
  6. Solid 8. Certainly one of the most interesting movies of the year. Haven't seen Us yet, but I've enjoyed most everything Jordan Peele has done.
  7. CD-i Demo disks are very common, but these are labelled as Beta-Testing which I haven't seen before. Would be interesting to know if it's the same as the final retail version of Voyeur II. I'd check the version number on mine for you, but it's not a game I own.
  8. Just keep reporting them as counterfeits, or, better yet, buy the fake, then report it as a counterfeit and the seller will be out shipping both ways or will have to give you a refund. The best way to put a stop to counterfeiting is to make it a money-losing endeavor.
  9. I've got a few controllers not previously shown. Don't have boxes and didn't clean them up. Two different Performance controllers: QJ SN Programmable: One or both of these might be modern replacements, or maybe not: Also, I couldn't find mine on short notice, but there were the Game Doctor backup devices, if those count.
  10. Sounds like GC is setting themselves up for a antitrust complaint.
  11. Even with all the arrows and explanations, I can barely see the errors. I might have boxfulls of misprints and not know it.
  12. My taxes are very simple, so I've just used H&R Blocks free online system. Takes me less than 30 minutes and it's a once-a-year thing so I haven't bothered looking for anything better.
  13. 300 or so, none of which came from ebay or similar. This is actually kinda low for me, but it's getting harder to find things in the wild I don't already have.
  14. I moved from the Pittsburgh area to Seattle 40 years ago, and now that I'm retired I'm looking at getting out of Seattle. I've only been back to PA 3 times since I left, no longer have family there, and doubt I'll ever go back again. Part of me wishes I'd moved a few more times - the path not taken musings, I guess. I've travelled all over the US and beyond, but visiting an area is nothing like living there.
  15. I had no idea these games existed, and I'm a big fan of the YT videos.
  16. "If you want to know the character of a man, share an inheritance with him" - Not sure who that quote is from, but it was framed and hanging on the wall behind the lawyer who handled my wife's mother's estate. Didn't stop a couple of her seedier relatives from getting greedy, though.
  17. They're very out of date, but you can still download the full pdf price guides.
  18. Maybe they got bought out by GoCollect? <Runs for cover>
  19. I've been game hunting in WA for decades, and have been a fan of that store since before they moved to the current (and soon to close) location. They used to be in Spanaway. And, no, that wouldn't have been me, I didn't spot anyone getting games there on any recent visit.
  20. I think I responded to your NA thread. I have a similar cart for the movie "Species", which AFAIK had no game-related releases, so I always assumed this was for some sort of cart based movie player rather than a game system. I wonder if someone could translate the logographs on the label? Maybe it says 'for use on the ???? system'?
  21. CIB or sealed for optical media. For carts, I keep sealed over CIB and CIB over loose, and the best label condition I can find, but I'm really most interested in the game. I don't use ebay or similar so what I have is whatever best item was found in the wild. Currently, about 3% of my collection is sealed, 40% CIB, and the rest loose or loose with manual.
