I was really not into gaming that generation. I was in college for most of it and more interested in... let’s say studying. I eventually inherited my younger brothers PS2 when he got the PS3 and I’ll tell you, I honestly did not know it even onlined. Pretty sure my parents were on 56k until like 2010.

I actually enjoy their channel quite a bit. Not so much any more but I’d watch those early episodes and just have an uncontrollable urge to find cool stuff to add to my collection. Actually spending time on NA and now here does the same thing to me.

There’s actually a drive in within walking distance of my house. I never go though because the movies start too late for me. I will say though that when I was a kid that was where I saw Jurassic Park for the first time.

What’s wrong with Pauly Shore?

A lot of Punkers have done the acoustic project thing over the years with some really excellent results. This dope is not one of them. I made the mistake of listening to him do Dig Up Her Bones. It was awful. Tried a different recording. Still awful. He really takes the punk thing of being a terrible musician very seriously.

It’s obviously a concern with all of them. My point was just that this is who the democrats have chosen from a wide field of contenders and it is a bit troubling. I’ve been rooting for Sanders since like ‘04 and it’s unfortunate that he finally received national recognition he deserves so near the end. Actually the more concerning thing with him became the absolute shit quality of some of the people that latched on to his candidacy. Trump is straight trash so one usually doesn’t even think about his age as the issue. He is the distillation of all of America’s worst qualities. Kind of liked Buttigieg but it’s too early in his career. He needs to find a Senate seat or something and try again in 2030 or so. Yang wasn’t bad either. It was unfortunate that his campaign got locked into talking about the UBI thing. He probably doesn’t have the personality to ever win the popularity contest though.
