There’s some stuff in there I enjoyed. Follow the Leader was good and I definitely have some TRL memories of their videos. I always liked Linkin Park. There was even a window in time where I was into Devil Without a Cause as shameful as that feels to say. This was just a really good album. Period. I had a buddy who was really into their first release so I was pretty familiar with them but this album was next level. Does this count as nu metal?

This album is the tits. Love Borknagar too. Would have Vortex’s giant Scandinavian babies. The only worthwhile song Cradle of Filth ever did was an Iron Maiden cover.

I’d say that’s fair. I was plowing through some King for awhile some years back. Stopped when I got stuck in the middle of the Dark Tower series waiting for holds through the library. I really need to finish that some day.

We got season passes this year so that’s been surprisingly enjoyable. We actually saw Book of Mormon some years back and it was awesome. Definitely made me more agreeable when she brought up the season passes thing. So far we’ve seen Beetlejuice and Hadestown and both have been really enjoyable. I was a bit skeptical of Hadestown at first but it ended up being pretty good. Pretty happy we’ve got Aladdin coming up here soon.

Always liked this album. Angela was a definite improvement. Saw them live and it confirmed that she is the most terrifying woman I’ve ever encountered. Pilgrim is my favorite track even if they did just rip that chorus off of Astronomy. Actually I probably like it so much because of it.
