  1. Speaking of which, I'll throw 1984 out there. Another one that's not nearly as good as the book but what movie is?
  2. I watch Brazil and A Scanner Darkly once or twice a year. Probably give em both a 9 or 10. While I appreciate the bleak themes of a 1984 imperial state rule, my take is that both movies are similarly uplifting. Because of the brainwashing (or in spite of), both protagonists are finally content in the end.
  3. This is pretty much my exact experience with Eraserhead.
  4. Probably the last 10 chronologically of Arnold's career. Might be able to squeeze True Lies in there. Genisys was my favorite of the further plotlines. Really wished that one did well so we could've seen the continuation of that story instead of another reboot. I do like them all to some degree though.
  5. Meh. Can't get into it. "In the retro style" is hard to pull off and Shovel Knight doesn't really do it for me. Cave Story though...
  6. I always wanted to play a Vectrex. I saw one in person one time at a store for ~$300. I went home and played Nintendo.
  7. I also like to screw apart two double stufs to make quadruple stufs.
  8. I vividly remember that one. Pretty devastating. It happened about an hour before I got off work. Probably half my employees take that route home. Thankfully no one left early that day.
  9. I was always pretty interested in the music video Sega CD stuff. Pretty innovative if you ask me. Probably the pinnacle of Marky Mark's career. Kriss Kross will make ya... Jump! Jump!
  10. Crazy! Glad to hear that you weren't part of the action. I think about this kind of thing fairly often whenever my routine is interrupted or when I'm running late. A couple weeks ago, we were up near Winter Park and running about 15 minutes behind our planned schedule. Berthoud Pass ended up being shut down all day due to a fatal accident. Had we been on time, we would have been on that stretch of road almost exactly when the accident occurred. Unfortunately an hour and a half ride home ended up being an 8 hour road trip to get home. Still glad to not be a part of that one. https://www.clearcreekcourant.com/stories/berthoud-pass-closed-by-fatal-head-on-crash,371560
  11. Played the first couple Midnight Clubs until I discovered Burnout. Played the series in order from the start and feel each subsequent entry was better than the last save for the fact that Paradise did not include crash mode. Hawker Solo is the best car in the game. I can pull a near endless stunt run with that car. I'd also give a nod to Criterion's NFS Hot Pursuit. Kind of a Burnout step child.
  12. 10. I don't think there's a bad tune in the bunch. Zeppelin II is my favorites followed by Physical Graffiti and Houses. Interesting inclusion of Whitesnake And Gretta Van Fleet. Whitesnake I'd give a 7; they're more their own thing. 5 for Gretta; completely derivative. Can't believe they won a Grammy. Oh wait, yes I can.
  13. 10 Best of the series. It's a great stalker horror movie in it's own right and feels a lot more real than T2. Even with the time travel, Terminator feels like it could actually happen and there's a gripping sense of dread throughout. I'd give T2 a 10 as well but damn that movie is long, the special editions in particular seem like a marathon at times. It's certainly great but it's a little more fantastical than the original and my suspension of disbelief doesn't go quite as far. Terminator hits the sweet spot for runtime and has better mystery surrounding future events.
