  1. I prefer complete if we're talking Nintendo games but I'm not a die hard. I'm going to assume game, instructions, and box (GIB?) for disc based games unless stated otherwise. And I won't collect game only from PS1 and later unless we're talking digital, and that needs to be a pretty sharp discount for me to consider. Order of preference in terms of collecting: Complete CIB CB CI C Digital
  2. Don't get me wrong, it can be done well. And I've seen and enjoy my fair share. But Jeckyl just doesn't do it.
  3. Maybe the best single post in this thread. Some really good shit I haven't heard for the most part. (War of the Worlds is familiar and I can't really appreciate Jeckyl and Hyde; musicals tend to rub me the wrong way.)
  4. I've played the demo for 3. I dunno if it's just me, but it felt like a Lemmings game. Lemmings is fine and all, but it's a game I have to be in the mood for. Haven't revisited since.
  5. Burton's best film alongside Pee Wee's Big Adventure with honorable mentions to Batman and Mars Attacks. So original and probably Keaton and Ryder best roles. (Hell yeah I'm hot for Lydia!) Tack on the Harry Belafonte and the animated series too, and you've got yourself a solid 10.
  6. I'm kinda in the same boat. That plus no nostalgia, plus all the overhype pretty much evens out to a solid "meh." It's probably "technically" better than a 4, but I got no real love for it.
  7. I voted dumbass. Not based on current events though. Seriously though, you're playing with fire. See if you can hook up with a hippie chick from the grocery store and settle it down just a bit before some crazy shit happens.
  8. Dude, sorry to hear. Every time I hear these stories I contemplate selling the collection. I'll probably never really sell but I'd also not go out of my way to replace for the most part. Congratulations on the marriage and honeymoon though. As far as silver linings go, that's pretty major. Cheers to the bride and groom!
  9. What, using Plucky for unlimited consecutive enemy bops? I'm not doing that. My hands hurt just thinking about it.
  10. Just saw Oppenheimer today. Truly a masterpiece of American propaganda and probably Nolan's best movie. Might have to watch The Prestige again soon though. Really enjoyed the tension, and the pacing well conveyed the sense of urgency in the race to the bomb. Didn't feel like a 3 hour movie. Probably give it a 9 overall.
  11. Punisher is my favorite superhero. Such a great character. The TV show was amazing. I've read Punisher Kills but not the Archie book. I really dig Frank as the Cosmic Ghost Rider if you're keeping up with any of those.
  12. Love the Marvel Cinematic Universe in general. I could probably give the franchise a 10 as a whole but it's not shaping up the way I'd like it to lately. Was really invested in Kang as the next big bad, but it seems likely he'll get tabled thanks to his real life bullshit. Really hoping the next season of Loki maintains the magic but not holding my breath. Age of Ultron is my favorite MCU movie. James Spader was fantastic as Ultron. Probably my favorite villain so far. Josh Brolin's Thanos is also great, of course. That first Infinity War was the MCU's masterpiece. Marvel's Empire Strikes Back. There's so many good movies really. I was going to give shout outs and realized I was going to list 10 more movies and a few TV shows.
  13. Man, I really want that. Particularly because of the giant buttons. Not gonna spend a bill on it though.
