  1. It's way better than anyone expects going in. I give it a big 9. Not quite a favorite but a great 90s action movie. I don't watch it often but when I do, it's always better than I remember.
  2. Glad to see another homebrew enthusiast. Good luck on the hunt!
  3. By the book, it's a 6. I like it and play it on occasion. But I play Tempest way more often.
  4. I don't really count as most people. I worked at a music/movie store during the era. I'd say none of my non-nerd friends are even aware of the movie.
  5. Word! Primer is probably my favorite modern movie (post 2000). I'm a sucker for time travel movies in general though.
  6. So you just don't like time travel movies altogether. Fair enough.
  7. Veey cool. I'ma have to give this another go round. Is this his first game to get the modern console treatment? Congrats on the release @KHAN Games.
  8. I glanced at that Windows tape and thought that it was looking real 90s with the generic Friends on the cover with that unbuttoned shirt and Rachel haircut. Then I looked closer and saw it's actually featuring Matthew Perry and Jen Anniston.
  9. Congratulations! I'm glad you are able to experience 8Bit Xmas in all it's glory for the first time. The blinky lights really are cool and this is one of my favorite games from the 8Bit Xmas series. I hope everyone enjoyed this as much as I did. I conceived of a Grinch style contest the moment I played the demo and decided I wanted to do a giveaway where anybody who beat my score could win the cart. Thanks to the events team, mods and admins, particularly @ZeldaFreak, for letting me shoehorn my idea into the already planned 2022 Xmas contest. And thanks to @Gloves; it was his idea to create The Grinch profile that allowed me to play the part. Anybody who mentioned The Grinch by name got a reply, which is why I had such a good banter going with @Avgn Gamer. So thanks to everyone who engaged and made this contest such a blast. And one last shout out to @Avgn Gamer and @darkchylde28 for putting up such monster scores. I figured there would be some Super Mario pros in this contest and you guys did not disappoint.
  10. Happy New Year from the Mountains Time Zone!
  11. Really fuckin good. I don't think it quite sneaks into the all-time favorites but it's definitely Bruce Willis' second best time travel movie.
  12. I gave it a 5. I couldn't get into it. Really, I think it's pretty meh from my little bit of exposure but I really like the art style so it gets an extra point. I always dig unique graphics or mechanics which this game definitely has, it's just not for me. Most likely the RPG aspect turned me off. IDK, it's been at least 5 years since I last attempted and I no longer own the cart, or a 64 for that matter.
  13. I heard it was a reskin of what should have been a Mario game.
  14. Yuck. I get it though. Way easier. Same thing happened to movies and music. Inevitable really.
  15. You are most welcome. Glad this was a meaningful gift. It must have been meant to be. I typically try to get games from my local game store and like to grab a few things from the list but this one maxed my budget. Once I noticed the Chip 'N Dale there and checked that it was complete, I knew I found my gift. They had a couple other great games from your list too but the rest that I checked were missing manuals. I also had a good laugh wrapping your present. For anybody wondering, it was triple wrapped. First with tin foil over the box protector and the first card (Now I know what a TV dinner feels like.) Second over the box itself (How can the same shit happen to the same guy twice?) And finally the cart was also wrapped inside the box (Aw shit. Here we go again.). More for my own amusement really.
