  1. Just wrapped up Ready Player Two. Kinda takes a weird dark turn but I enjoyed almost as much as the first.
  2. Alright. I can't ignore you people and your 20+ perfect 10/10 rankings. I fired up CT last night to give it a proper 30 minute shakedown and see what all the hullabaloo is about. Unfortunately, I got pulled into a 4 hour session and now I actually have to play the damn game. I must admit the gameplay is quality and keeps you engaged. Admittedly, I'm a sucker for time travel but the characters are charming, the storyline is intriguing without reading walls of text, and the battle system is quick and tight. Plus the time travel sequence is dope! So what kind of time sink am I looking at assuming my ADD doesn't get the best of me?
  3. Hot damn! I am so stoked for Montezuma's Revenge. I'd really like to see a some of the Atari's paddle games ported to the NES so my VAUS controller isn't so lonely. Star Wars: Jedi Arena Kaboom! Astroblast Breakout/Super Breakout Tempest Actually, I'd really like to see an adapter to use the Atari paddles on the NES. They are superior to the VAUS controller imo.
  4. Loopy (not a random person but a very specific person) is associated with the "OEM" per the official change log on the retroUSB site and I quote, NES Mappers v1.30 ------------- - Added many mappers written by loopy https://www.retrousb.com/downloads/powerpakchanges.txt
  5. All I know is I played Castlevania 3 on my PowerPak today and any argument that states otherwise is irrelevant.
  6. Fuck yeah! Montezuma's Revenge rulz!
  7. This is huuuge! Congrats @dra600n on landing Montezuma's Revenge. It's been a minute since I've been this stoked about a homebrew.
  8. I don't really care for RPGs other than Zeldas and FFVII. (Yes, Zeldas are too RPGs, fight me.) I'll probably never play Chrono Trigger but I'm slightly interested because everyone raves about it.
  9. Irregardless, the fact remains. PowerPak plays MMC5 just fine.
  10. Not really hacks rather the community adopting and continuing the project. Brian had already previously included many of loopy's mappers in previous iterations of the official download. If you're going to be all semantic, the PowerPak won't run any games at all natively.
  11. Nice! I just checked yesterday too.
  12. I remember it being great but also haven't watched in 2 decades. I guess it's a 5 by definition.
  13. I literally can't hear the difference between the old and new. It all pretty much sux.
  14. Brian quit working on it long ago. You need loopy's mappers.
  15. This is false. MMC5 has been supported for years. Not initially maybe.
  16. I know. They were huge. Legit good rap. Had a platinum album and everything.
  17. Gah! I don't know what I want. The pressure is too much. Just send me some tendo tapes!
  18. Thanks guys. Keep em coming. That reminds me. I think the Akira translation is also too big. I have a repro of it for that reason.
