  1. PS1 of course is my all time favorite, but Sega CD is amazing as well. Edit: For Sega CD, I specifically meant the US Model 2.
  2. One more. In my opinion, this is the greatest villain reveal of all time. The timing, the camera angle and the music are just perfect.
  3. No matter how many times I watch this movie, this scene still give me chills the same way it did the first time I watched it as a kid.
  4. Never played it. From what I've read, I would probably enjoy it, but not sure that I want to invest the amount of time I would probably need to enjoy it.
  5. I guess I never got around to sending that in. You know, my parents still lived in that house up to about 3 years ago. I even used that phone number up until that same time. Don't know who is living there now.
  6. This is the Penny stuff I kept. And the only remaining Jordan card in my collection. And some Wheaties boxes that I kept for some reason.
  7. I don't really remember where that came from. I might have come from the same place as the boxes. I used to visit a small coin shop that sold cards and I got a lot of free stuff from them.
  8. Do you mean the boxes? I got most, if not all of that stuff for free from a card shop that was getting rid of it. This was back when I was still collecting it.
  9. I'm glad they went to a good home. It was fun going through them one last time. It brought back some good memories from those years.
  10. Stone Age Gamer is taking pre-orders on the next batch of Super SD System 3 which is supposed to ship in October. I'm a huge fan of the Turbo Everdrive. It was the first ever flash cart that I bought. But limiting yourself to only the Hu card library is a major limitation. If you are willing to go with emulation for the disc based games, you might as well go with emulation for the entire TG16/PCE library and save yourself the cost of the hardware and flash cart. To be perfectly honest, if I didn't already own the hardware, that's what I would do at this point.
  11. I knew that comment was coming. OP is under no obligation to tell the seller his stuff is worth more and go out of his way to help him sell it. The seller has access to the exact same information that the OP has access to. The seller chose not to research the items he was selling. He chose the easy way to sell stuff and in turn made less money because of it. The seller still made a decent amount of money for almost zero effort. He could have sold that stuff for a lot more, but he would have had to put in a much larger effort to do so. Congrats OP on the great find. Hopefully this thread doesn't turn into a shit show that sours your great experience.
  12. Sometimes finding one. Not sure on availability right now since I haven't checked recently.
  13. In that case, sell your TG16 Everdrive and get the Super SD System 3. The good news is that the cost of the Super SD System 3 and a PCE or Core Grafx is approximately the same as a Duo R and an Everdrrive.
  14. I also agree with PCE. In general, the hardware is cheaper and easier to find compared to TG16. If you get an Everdrive or Super SD System 3, you are covered for most of the library. I'm currently using a Duo R with an Everdrive, and a bunch of burned CDs. I'm considering selling the Duo R, and getting a Super SD System 3 for my Core Grafx so I don't have to worry about any more CD drives.
  15. I hate not being able to use the d-pad during the 2D versions of Mario Odyssey. That bugs me as well.
  16. The beep the 360 makes when you turn it on is also really loud. My neighbors down the street don't need to know every time I turn my 360 on.
  17. The Sphinx riddles in Mario Odyssey. EDIT: Someone beat me to it.
  18. I know I've played a ton of demos at store kiosks, but for whatever reason, the ones I remember the most were Jurassic Park for the Genesis and Star Fox for the SNES, both at our local Target which we used to go to every Friday evening when I was a kid. My parents would shop, and I would get at least 10 minutes of game time in the video game section.
  19. I'm torn between a 9 and a 10. It's probably a 9.9. I really enjoy this movie and I've watched it more times than I can remember. I really enjoy the attention to detail that most scenes receive and the amount of time spent with little or no dialogue. I also enjoy the amount of the story that is left to interpretation.
  20. I was lucky enough to get a PSIO from the first round of pre-orders for what feels like forever ago. Unfortunately for me, it arrived during a time when I had too many projects and other things going on in my life to take the time to install it on my PS1 and enjoy it. Since I knew it was going to sit for a while before I could even install it, and considering what they were selling for at the time, I made the difficult decision to sell it. I would still like to get another one sometime, but I will wait at least until my basement is completed. I enjoyed your story as it reminds me a lot of my self during that time. I was also a pretty early PS1 adopter after being a huge fan of the NES and SNES. It was weird not getting another Nintendo system, but for some reason, I knew the PS1 was the right decision for me. My brother and I got it as a Christmas present and since it didn't come with a game, my parents also got us Crash Bandicoot and Tomb Raider. I already knew about CB and had played it many times. I was super excited for that one. But at the time, I had never heard of Tomb Raider. My parents bought it because a kid working at Best Buy recommended it. I'm so glad he did, because I loved that game and still consider it to be my favorite PS1 game of all time. The PS1 is still my favorite system to this day and my favorite to collect for. It's the only system that I truly have any desire to collect a full set for. Although, I only have about 45% of the US library and prices continue to climb each year, it's still a fun set to collect for.
