9 for sure. It's the type of movie that you need to be in the right mood for because it demands you attention, but it's worth it.

Weird. I see it now, but that's exactly where I was looking earlier. There was definitely nothing there for me about 30 minutes ago when I looked.

Well, I finally watched it. It was ok. Certainly better than The Last Jedi, but just about anything is better than that. I almost took my son to see it in theaters and I'm kind of glad that I didn't. I think it was too long and way too dark for him at his age. I still stand by my opinion that the sequel trilogy makes the prequel trilogy look like the original trilogy.

I saw the tweet this morning, but I'm not seeing it on their website. Am I missing something, or is it just not live yet?

I know you are joking (one of my favorite lines from that trilogy), but trust me when I say that long distance running is as good of a stress reliever as video games are. I wish my knees still allowed me to do it, but unfortunately, I have to stick with biking now.

I just went through my games, and the only ones I have are already on your list. I"m not a big fan of slip covers because I think they look out of place on the shelf. I usually remove my slip covers and keep them in a separate storage box. I prefer my cases looking uniform on the shelf (or at least as uniform as PS3 games can look with the multiple spine variations ).

For me, this is another band that I never really got into, and I've never owned any of their music, but at the same time I don't really dislike any of it. I will listen to it if it's on the radio.

I've thought about it a few times, but only for a few minutes before coming to my senses. I haven't given much thought to what I would consider a "retro" computer, but it would at the very least need to include a 3.5" floppy drive, but of course not so old that it doesn't also have a CD ROM drive.

Never played it. I don't have anything against it. There are just too many other games that I would rather try first.

The dock is the selling point for me also. Mine will most likely never leave the dock and the entire thing will act as an odd looking console.

Interested, but damn, it looks like I will be in for over $400 with the accessories I want to get once you figure in shipping. Still though, I think I'm going for it. Edit: I didn't realize that two of the adapters will not be part of the initial pre-order. So that will at least save me $60 next month. But regardless, I want to get those once they are available.

That was one thing that drove me nuts as a kid. Maybe it was because I was too young, but I could never figure out the alternate pictures on the back of the box. At the time, I was pretty sure some weren't possible due to additional pieces that didn't come with the kit. Having instructions for alternate sets is an amazing update for modern kits. But as far as the pirate set goes, it really looks to me like you can convert between the ship and the pirate base with only minor alterations. I know the ship separates into 3 pieces easily from the pictures. Then they show arrows from the ship to the empty base. But there still must be some alterations because of the plants hanging off the pirate base, and the steering wheel appears to be in a different spot compared to the ship. Still though, I'm super tempted to get something like that.

Holy sh!t that's amazing. The price actually seems reasonable for what I'm seeing. Since I am way outside the loop when it comes to LEGO stuff, I have no idea how easy or difficult this stuff is to get, but I might look into some of it for Christmas for my son. Although, I'm guessing he won't have much interest in basic pirate stuff the way I did. I'm sure he would be much more interested in the modern themes that are out now.

While I was never into the Space Theme, I do remember that one and thought it looked pretty cool. I'm pretty sure I only had once single Space Themed LEGO set, and it was a small one. Some kind of snowmobile for the Ice Set. Since I didn't have enough Space LEGOs to actually play with, I used to pretend that they guy was sent back in time and ended up in either the Pirate Theme or Castle Theme. That was how I justified putting the sets together. EDIT: It was 6834 Celestial Sled. That guy ended up fighting a lot of pirates.

Haven't followed LEGO stuff in years, so no idea what you are talking about. Link? While I haven't followed LEGOs in years and I don't really have any desire to buy up the sets I used to own, I will say that my son is starting to get into LEGOs, so I'm a little excited to have an excuse to buy some sets, even if they are a under a theme that I'm not really interested in.

Something about those older simple sets just seems so interesting to me. I don't know why, but most of the current themes that are based on movies or other IP don't do anything for me.

Your post got me to thinking, and I realized I was wrong about my first set because I remembered it having this one single yellow window. I remember as a kid thinking that yellow window piece was really cool. So I got to looking again and realized this was my first Lego set. I think what thew me off besides the grey castle pieces was the fact that both sets had hinges on the walls allowing you to open it up from the back and make it a long wall instead of an encircled castle.
