  1. I understand the frustration, but that's not a valid reason to complain about their business model. That is the biggest thing to keep LRG alive and allow them to get as big as they are. On the plus side, as been stated many times, they do not prevent the game developer from releasing the game again through a different publisher, and this has happened many times with some of the bigger named titles. You have a limited window to get these games, and depending on your situation, that might suck. But your choice is between that limited window, or a digital only release. The limited window is by far the lessor of the two evils.
  2. I was always partial to the red dress woman from Rampage.
  3. You can call me crazy, but Dwight is the key to the show, plus he sticks around to the end. Dwight remains throughout even the weak seasons.
  4. Simpsons - Hank Scorpio (yes, I said it) Parks & Rec - Ron Swanson (possibly one of the greatest TV characters of all time) Scrubs - Dr. Perry Cox The Office (US) - Dwight Schrute Futurama - Bender Bending Rodriguez South Park - Randy Marsh It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - Charlie Kelly 30 Rock - Jack Donaghy King of the Hill - Boomhauer Archer - Sterling Archer Brooklyn Nine-Nine - Raymond Holt Dr. Katz - Benjamin Katz (yes, H Jon Benjamin makes the list twice)
  5. I always loved the Crash Bandicoot games, but the levels where you are riding another animal are an entire different level of epic.
  6. I'm just going to have fun with it. I'm not too worried about other characters missing out since I've seen it all so many times. If I were to make a list of games I've played through from start to finish the most, Vandal Hearts would easily fall into the top 10. I"ll probably make a few game saves, so I can always go back to the point where he advances to the top class.
  7. I love their cards, but it just isn't something I can bring myself to spend money on.
  8. Another example is Super Mario Bros. 3. I'm completely fine using the powerups that you save in between levels. However, the one rule that I have is that I don't use the P-wings. I don't thin it's cheating if you do use them since they are included in the game for that reason. However, I just choose not to use them myself.
  9. You beat me to it. Funny thing is that I played through this game more times than I could count over many years, but I never learned about the trials until a few years ago. In all of the years playing it, I never once looked at a guide until recently. I was blown away to learn about the hidden levels and secret class for Ash. I'm actually playing through the game again right now, but this will be my first attempt to promote Ash to the Vandalier class (I currently have 4 of 6 keys). I fully understand how over powered he will be, but I want to do it one time just for fun.
  10. I remember it for sure. My oldest son just started reading this spring, so I'll have to look back into it.
  11. That looks awesome. Sorry to hear you have to pack it up. I'm in the same boat as I'm currently finishing my basement, and most of my gaming systems are unhooked and packed up. In the long run, hopefully you will be better off because you have a lot of BIG items in a little area. You definitely make it work, but if you eventually have all of that in a bigger room, it will probably look even better.
  12. Agreed. If you don't like the business model, explain why. Their business model has brought hundreds of digital only games into a physical release. That's a good thing. End of story. If you don't like them releasing games that already have physical copies, that's fine (I'm not a big fan of it either), but considering that makes up a small fraction of their published games, that's hardly an excuse to complain about their business model.
  13. If Mark Balelo from Storage Wars sees that HVC-001 on the back, he is going to get $$$$ in his eyes.
  14. This is especially funny if you watched Gamesack this week.
  15. I'm pretty sure that's where the original batteries were kept. Also, it looks like you might be missing the link cable, because the cable on the right doesn't look right, although it's hard to tell though with the plastic.
  16. It HAD a lot of potential. It was certainly the best chance to get DS and 3DS games on a console (basically like a Game Boy Player attachment for the Wii U). With the single screen experience on the Switch, we will probably never have another opportunity for that ever again.
  17. Pardon my ignorance on the matter. How do I play your levels once you are done? My experience with both Mario Makers has been 100% paying random levels.
  18. I was going to say something similar, although you provided way more detail. But yeah, I would not open a DS game up just for the purposes of cleaning.
  19. I remember nothing about it except for that diving scene and the fact that for a while, Comedy Central played it nonstop. I just looked up the cast list. I certainly didn't remember most of those people being in it. I might need to watch it again.
  20. That Dangerfield video is funny. Man, I haven't seen the movie it's from since grade school.
  21. I ran out of beer about 4 days ago. I've switched over to whiskey for now.
