  1. I spent way too much time watching the different pallbearer videos. My favorites were the ones that would occasionally cut to the pallbearers waiting and then back to the stupid person before they "died."
  2. Funny thing is that I have a ton of hours in the Wii U game and several more hours in the Switch sequel (with many more to come) and I've never even made my own course. I just have fun playing other people's courses.
  3. I also sold my VW several years ago. My name is a complete lie.
  4. To each their own of course, but I enjoyed the game, especially the ending. Probably the best game ending I experienced that year.
  5. Rime was NOT terrible. I loved that game. Which platform did you play it on? If the answer is the Switch, I guess I don't blame you since I heard that port was terrible. However, the game was AMAZING on the PS4. I highly recommend the game. Edit: It appears you didn't care for the game due to the art style which obviously has nothing to do with the system. However, I still disagree. I loved the look of the game.
  6. 7. I've never really followed them as a band, but The Power of Love is too epic to ignore. I'm a HUGE Back to the Future fan, and I love that song.
  7. Running used to be a big part of my life, but due to the miles I put in during my college years, I have too much pain in my knees to do much running anymore. For the most part, I've replaced running with biking. I'm fortunate because in the county that I live in, we have hundreds of miles worth of inter-connected bike trails. This is great because I don't care for riding on roads with other cars. I find the bike trails much more relaxing and scenic. When I decided to get a new road bike about 3 years ago, I knew that I didn't want to spend much money. I went to a local bike shop with the plan on getting the cheapest, good quality road bike they had. After riding the entry level model, I ended up upgrading one level to get a higher quality gear set and shift levers. All I can say is that I HIGHLY recommend getting a road bike with the gear shift levers built into the brake levers. This was a game changer to me. If you aren't familiar, the brake lever works as it usually would, but also up-shifts and down-shifts by pushing it either left or right. I ended up with a Fuji Sportif and I've been extremely happy with it. I want to say it was around the $600 range.
  8. I know it's not exactly what you are all talking about, but don't forget that Wart did technically come back in Link's Awakening.
  9. Nah. I'm sure he meant Super Mario Bros. 2 since that's the official name. He even said : so there could be no confusion. As far as the Famicom Super Mario Bros. 2, that's a fun game and all, but the US got the much better end of that deal.
  10. That's what YouTube is for. That does look pretty cool. I might check this one out. I haven't purchased from LRG for a while now.
  11. Also, to this day, I still don't understand why Wart keeps a machine that generates infinite vegetables in his palace.
  12. I consider SMB2 to be my favorite video game of all time. I absolutely love that game. I've probably played and beaten it more than any other game. I prefer Toad myself. I typically use him 100% of the time, but I will occasionally switch to someone else every once and a while just for fun. The copy I have today is still the same copy that my Dad bought the week it was released. I remember being so excited for a new Mario game. I was a little surprised at how different it was, but I grew to love it very quickly. The US definitely got the better end of the deal with SMB2. The "lost levels" are fun, but they are no true sequel in my eyes. The Japenese SMB2 is really just SMB1.5 as far as I'm concerned.
  13. They were remade from the ground up, so they can't be remasters. They are 1:1 remakes like the Twin Snakes remake and the SOTC remake, but that isn't to be confused with remasters which take the same game and improve the overall resolution of the graphics. Sometimes it gets super confusing when a remake gets a remaster like they did with Resident Evil. The GameCube version was a remake of the original game. That version was eventually given a remaster for the current generation of consoles. Sometimes it's the other way around. Shadow of the Colossus was originally released on the PS2. It was remastered for the PS3 (along with Ico), but was later rebuilt from the ground up and became a remake for the PS4.
  14. Crash and Spyro were also remakes not remasters. It gets confusing when the remakes are 1:1 remakes, but still, not the same as a remaster.
  15. In my opinion, 1 and 2 are the best and you can't go wrong with playing the original or the remake. In both cases, I would recommend playing the original before playing the remakes.
  16. That's interesting about remaking part 4. I would have certainly guess that Code Veronica would get remade before 4.
  17. Yeah, that hasn't been the case for quite some time. At least this one is free. I don't have the heart to tell you that some developers charge you money for updates like these.
  18. Director's Cut didn't initially add dual shock. That was added later as a separate version of the DC.
  19. I mentioned above that it was shorter compared to the other RE games. It had a much shorter development cycle which is why it uses some of the same assets and locations.
  20. I'm glad you brought up CE. I've always wanted to get around to CE just like RE3. I also really want to play 0 and the remake of the original. However, I've never had much interest in any of the games from RE4 on up.
  21. Definitely looks awesome. I've barely played any of Mario Maker at all, but this might get me back into it.
  22. It's weird because I LOVE Resident Evil, but I've only ever played the first two games (and REmake 2). I haven't played REmake 3 yet for a few reasons. I never got around to playing the original RE3 when it was new despite the fact that I was heavily into the PS1 and I loved the first two games (I think I might have been burned out on the style of game). Since I don't have the nostalgia for it, I didn't pre-order REmake 3 like I did with REmake 2. With all of that said, I still know enough about RE3 to know that it's simply a smaller and shorter game. The original RE3 was developed in a short time and reuses a lot of the RE2 assets and locations since it takes place around the same time. It also only has one mission to play through compared to the different character missions to choose from in the previous installments. I'm not sure why people expected REmake 3 to be any different. It's going to be a shorter game. End of story. I have full intentions of getting this game and playing it, but without the nostalgia for the original, I have no problem waiting until the price comes down. I don't regret pre-ordering REmake 2 and playing it on launch day. That was a great experience for me. RE1 and RE2 are among some of the best gaming memories from my high school years and even though I never got into the rest of the series, I will still always enjoy those games.
  23. If you replace Macbook with 2-in-1, this is my exact life right now.
