  1. Sorry, I misunderstood. Looking at it now, that should have been obvious to me. I just fixed it. *smacks himself in the head*
  2. While I've seen this movie probably 10 times, the last viewing was over a year ago, so everything isn't completely fresh in my mind.
  3. I see an edit in the title. Are we talking about spoilers now?
  4. I disagree, but I cannot provide an argument without spoilers. So I'll just say nuh-uh.
  5. Honestly, I don't know. I'm not much of an Xbox person. I thought that the 360 was playing the game off the actual disc, but I really don't know and I have no idea about the Xbox One. Regardless, while not ideal, the third option would work for me.
  6. 10 One of my favorite movies of all time. Fantastic replay value. This is the first (and only) movie I've ever watched, where I immediately wanted to watch the movie again as soon as it ended. I won't say anymore if we don't want to include spoilers, but I would love to discuss this movie sometime with others who have seen it.
  7. I hope so too. Ideally, the PS5 would be backwards compatible with all Sony disc based games. Realistically, it will probably be backwards compatible with digital versions of the games which you will have to re-buy (for PS1 through PS3) PS4 discs will probably work. Maybe, just maybe, we will get lucky and meet halfway in the middle, where you can play backwards compatible digital versions, but they are free if you can insert the original disc in the system.
  8. Two more series that I really enjoy. I still need to add a few black labels to these.
  9. These white shelves were originally from a video rental store and when the store closed down, a tanning salon bought them along with a bunch of DVDs and rented movies out of their salon for several years. Once they decided to get out of that market they listed the shelves on Facebook market place and I picked them up for $60. The only downside is that the shelves are not adjustable. But that works out because anything smaller like PS1 or other portable games just go on my other Atlantic Oskar shelves which are adjustable.
  10. My local Goodwills actually kept the discs behind the counter in a book for about 6 months before they got tired of doing that.
  11. It's not mentioned in the article, but on Faceboook Jason mentioned that he has some of the games back, but not all.
  12. Amazingly there is an update on the robbery at Trade-N-Games from last August. There was a thread over at Nintendo Age for those who remember. According to Jason, not everything has been accounted for, but this is good news at least. https://fox2now.com/news/missouri/sheriff-st-louis-man-steals-71k-in-rare-video-games-from-store/
  13. It's definitely annoying, but honestly I don't expect them to check each and every CD, DVD, game ect. that comes in. Most of that stuff is sold for next to nothing so it usually isn't worth their time. Obviously, it's different if it's a high dollar item that they keep behind a case. It only takes me a second to check each game before I buy it, so that's what I do each time.
  14. I definitely agree that the PS3 BC was disappointing. Although it's still worth mentioning that a lot of people hated on Sony for that despite the fact that BC has not been the norm throughout the history of the gaming industry. Sure there are many examples of it, but it's still not that common. I think we were all just spoiled by the extremely good BC from the PS2.
  15. I do remember that now that you mention it. Did that include the adapters that allowed you to transfer your PS1/2 memory card data to the PS3?
  16. Certainly an option, but not an ideal option due to the extreme unreliability and low supply.
  17. Is that because of the lack of the controller port, or is the game itself incompatible? If it's the controller port, they make adapters that allow you to plug PS2 controllers into the USB ports on the PS3.
  18. The poll needs a choice for "I've literally never heard of this band before this moment."
  19. One way to draw the line could be to say that if a re-release counts towards the set, it has to be released within a certain number of years of the original, or within a certain console generation. That would prevent compilations released on modern consoles covering games that were released during the NES era. Just a thought.
  20. There are so many subsets that I'm only missing one game for. I have all of the RR games, but my copy of the first game is pretty crappy, so I would prefer to replace it before taking a picture of the set.
  21. And of course, my favorite game series on the PS1. The original Tomb Raider was one of the two games I received on Christmas morning along with my PS1. I had no idea what the game was that morning. My parents bought it based on a recommendation from a Best Buy employee and I was completely blown away by how amazing the game was (and still is to this day).
  22. Here is another racing series that I loved back during the PS1 era. I don't think these games have aged as well as the NFS series, but the huge jumps on the San Francisco track in TD4 were amazing and the original TD Off Road was pretty ahead of its time.
  23. I'll also add that I think it's very interesting that there were a few games that were only released in the US that had FM sound programmed in, meaning that if it wasn't for these current mods, there would be no good way to hear that sound.
  24. It actually depends on the game, but most of the time the FM sound is better. I installed my FM board years ago, so I'm not sure what they cost today, but for what I paid, and how simple it was to install, I say it's definitely worth it.
