I'm like 95% sure I have an extra copy of Pinball Fantasies for the Jaguar, and I think it's sealed. Not sure if you are interested in a sealed copy, but either way I'll double check tonight at home.
  2. The thing that has surprised me the most is that the modding community has had no problems with refitting the Arcade 1Up cabinets (new ROMs, controls, and external graphics) and reselling them for sometimes $400 or $500. When people start to spend that kind of money, I figured they would prefer to start looking at real arcade cabinets. However, many people enjoy the idea of a smaller cabinet that they can pickup and move by themselves whenever they want. The size ended up being a much bigger deal than I ever imagined.
  3. I think nearly all of the 32X CD games had multiple discs, but Fahrenheit was the only 32X CD game that came in a jewel case (also the only one that included both the Sega CD and Sega 32X CD game together in the same case).
  4. I finished the Link's Awakening remake last night. Great game. I really enjoyed it. I'm only missing one seashell and 9 chamber stones. Other than that, I have all of the heart containers, and any other items you can collect including the last Bow Wow figure that you can't get until after you complete the game. Not sure if I will go after those last few items since the chamber stones can be a little tedious. I kind of want to move onto a different game anyway.
  5. The Saturn games with multiple discs used those as well such as D. So there are certainly more than 3 games, but like you said, not enough demand to be worth making reproductions.
  6. I personally don't have any issues with the layout. I currently own the Rampage and Centipede cabs. I don't have either of them on risers yet because my two sons are 3 and 5 and they are the perfect height for the cabs without risers. They both love to play and my 5 year old son is actually pretty good at Centipede. Once they get bigger, I will assemble the risers I have put away down in the basement and lift them up to normal height.
  7. Many Wal-Marts keep them in the back because they don't really fit on the shelves very well and they don't always have a spot for a pallet. So it certainly doesn't hurt to ask. Also, for some reason, they don't always update the prices. The cabinet I bought for $70 was priced at $299 in the store. I only knew about the discount simply because I asked them to double check and it rang up at the register for $70. That's why I always say that you should ask if you aren't seeing what you are looking for.
  8. The modding community for the Arcade 1Up cabinets is HUGE. There are a few Facebook groups and I've been pretty amazed by what some of these people have done. Any of the cabinets that have been released so far can be modded to do just about anything, so I have no reason to believe that the new ones won't be the same way.
  9. Wal-Mart seems to be the biggest distributor of these, and I think they learned a good lesson after the first Christmas season when they were stuck with a large supply of unsold cabinets. Now they seem to stock them in much smaller numbers. It seems like they tend to stock them just short of demand. It's a smart move on their part, but that means that sometimes it can be hard to find the model you are looking for. It seems like the days of snatching one for under $100 is behind us now.
  10. They should fit into the trunk of any midsize car no problem, and probably some compact cars as well if the rear seat can fold down. They are not too heavy. I loaded mine myself, but some people may need help with it simply because it's somewhat bulky.
  11. Definitely. I managed to pickup my Centipede cab for $70. They also had Asteroids for $70 at the same time, but I couldn't justify the space for another.
  12. While I'm not really interested in most of these new cabinets and pinball machines, I'm really happy to see them doing well enough to expand into these different models.
  13. Well they do sometimes. I've received a 10% discount in the past for this exact situation for complaining that the game was no longer "new." It's rare and completely dependent on who is working, but they can do it. It's just a simple price adjustment at the register.
  14. Also, I see that several Vintage Stocks are listed in Missouri and a few other states, but I don't see one listed for Fairview Heights, IL in the St. Clair Mall. To the best of my knowledge, this is the newest one, so probably why it didn't make the list, but it's there.
  15. Sadly, Game Trader II in St. Charles, MO closed down a little over a year ago. The former owner still has a major role in organizing the annual MO Game Con and sells games at that event, but the store is no more.
  16. I honestly don't see it happening anytime soon, but even if it does, I'm pretty comfortable saying that it will be done in a way that people who don't upgrade will still have access to the full library of games similar to the way Sony handled the PS4 Pro. If they handle it that way, I will have no issues. I just doubt that I would upgrade anytime soon.
  17. PS4 VR games have lots of low print runs, and lots of games that get digital only releases in the US, but physical copies in PAL areas. Whether or not that is "nice" or "fun" to collect for is dependent on the individual, but I'm just putting that out there.
  18. I've had the PS4 VR for a little over a year now and I've really enjoyed it. I've had motion sickness with a few games, but it's been rare and in most cases it been on games where the VR was tacked on at the last minute or added later. Most games developed for VR from the ground up work much better and rarely cause motion sickness. I've never understood why some people complain about the wires. Nearly everything gets tucked away behind the TV along with the other wires from you other video game systems. The only remaining wire is the one running from the VR unit to your headset. Would it be nice if that part was wireless? Sure, but one wire isn't a huge mess. I'm very interested to see the improvements for the next generation of VR.
  19. More or less what I expected. It's been a long time since I've found a good deal at any store closing liquidation sale.
  20. I can hear that video without even hitting play.
  21. I've been playing the Link's Awakening remake since Christmas after getting my son a Switch. I play in the evenings after he has gone to bed. As of this weekend, I've completed all dungeons, and I'm ready to complete the game. I'm just trying to decide if I want to try and 100% the game before I do. I'm damn close to having everything, so I might try to just find those last few hearts, sea shells and chamber stones. Fantastic game. I really enjoyed it, and this is coming from someone who didn't play the original beyond a 20 minute sample. After Link's Awakening, I'm not sure if I will move onto Mario Odyssey or Yoshi's Crafted World.
  22. Nothing close to me, and only two in the St. Louis area on the entire list. So I'm curious, when the close a store down, are the clearance sales any good, or do they just ship the good inventory to the remaining stores and just discount the stuff no one wants anyway?
  23. Quick note on the original post. Blue Lightning would be for the Jaguar CD. For the regular Jaguar, it's got to be Cybermorph, or if we aren't counting pack-in-games, then it would be either Doom or Wolfenstein 3D.
  24. From a quick glance, that was the only thing on the list that I couldn't comprehend. I was going to say something similar, but I've shit on that movie so much, I don't feel like wasting my time with it anymore.
  25. You also forgot to mention that he got the years wrong anyway. The current decade is 2011 through 2020.
