Rosenbaum threw something, but I haven't heard concrete evidence on what exactly it was. There's no evidence of Rittenhouse trying to place anyone (especially Rosenbaum) under citizen's arrest. The first video starts with Rosenbaum chasing Rittenhouse through that parking lot. Unless you're watching some footage that I'm not aware of?

Who's on the other side of the "aisle"? The NRA? They don't want to stop this. The GOP/RNC? They want poor people dead so they can't vote and the GOP can stay in power. I get your point but it's just not going to happen. You have to look at things more realistically. It's nice to think about how things should be but America should be focused on how things are and how to solve them. He didn't knock on the window with a gun, only pulled the gun when George ignored commands to show both of his hands. Once he did, the officer holstered the gun. They actively tried to de-escalate the situation, and gave George countless opportunities to comply. (George asked to be placed on the ground after resisting many times, and refusing to get in the car) Doesn't mean the end result is right, but the evidence doesn't point to racism, or intent to kill. Pg 4 - SH explains why stop and frisk is not racist. Another example of unequal outcomes must solely be racist. An additional factor couldn't be that stop and frisk was applied heavier in crime areas which have their own demographics? Why are you the only one on this forum who gets it? I can only speculate, but the best I have is that I'm not so blinded by political affiliation and personal hatred for Trump that I don't let someone's political beliefs impact my ability to acknowledge evidence objectively. No doubt it my mind that if the roles were reversed here (e.g. BLM Protester being chased down by armed Proud Boys, Trumpers, etc.), a lot of folks would be signing a different tune, and agreeing with the self-defense claim. Clear sign of the shit-show that politics have caused this year, and how it affects people's reactions and ability to think critically.

He's not? Source? I haven't seen a source confirming the most damning claim, which is clearly being a white nationalist murderer. Supporting Trump/Police seems accurate at this point, but has no bearing on the situation. It's only being referenced to further paint him in a negative light since it's so trendy to hate Trump and Police nowadays, and most MSM love promoting the angle of supporting Trump/Police = evil/racist. I can't see a connection between supporting Trump/Police and acting in self-defense. Irrespective of any successful self defense claim, I wouldn't be surprised if there could be successful civil suit over the negligence of both his parents and his friend's (who supplied the rifle) parents, since ultimately they should be responsible for their minor children. And the people who were shot would have not been in harms way had they not violently chased him and forced his reaction. Even if the second group hadn't chased him after the first shooting, they would be fine and the kid would have just ran to the police, like he ended up doing after the second shooting. (don't forget the survivor was an idiot felon with a firearm he had no business being in possession of) The bottom line is he was out there (whether you agree with it or not), and was chased/attacked to the point where his life was threatened. I highly doubt the murder charge sticks because "he shouldn't have been out there". Nobody should have been out there. Not an armed 17 y.o attempting to protect property, and not armed criminals attempting to destroy property, then chasing and attempting to kill a kid. But they were, and this is how it unfolded.

Also, your NBC video leaves out a potentially crucial detail. Watch this around the 4 second mark. First guy is chasing him and someone says "that's Antifa man - ooh, he got a gun baby". Seems to be speaking about the guy giving chase as you can see him stop shortly after throwing an object and extend his arm like he's aiming something (and he wouldn't be calling the teen Antifa). You then hear one shot (assuming from his weapon since he wasn't hit then) as he continues to chase for 3 more seconds before getting shot 4 times and falling to the ground. Appears that he was armed, shot at the teen, then was shot 4 times when he caught up. In the event he didn't have a gun, he was aggressive in an earlier video screaming "shoot me n****", gave chase while screaming "F*** you", and got close enough to reach his weapon when shot.

It really doesn't. With all of the mass casualty shooting in this country when something like that happens people have to make snap decisions. These people tried to stop him because they knew he killed someone. He could have put the gun down at any point, but he chose not to. He chose to point the gun at anyone in his way and then shot two people who tried to stop him. He put himself in a situation by bringing that assualt rifle out there and he wasn't capable of dealing with situation. Was it a month ago those pro-second amendment black people were protesting with guns and someone shot a couple of them. They didn't all turn in one direction and start firing their weapons. Those black protestors knew the situation they put themselves in by protesting because they were mature enough to handle the situation Honestly, what do you think would have happened if he stopped and set his gun down? Again, your point is that he was being chased by good samaritans who were stopping a murderer, which isn't the case. So your point really does still rely on the first shooting being a murder. Was he being chased because he was armed? Why was he fleeing since he was armed? If he hadn't been armed, what do you think would have happened when they caught up to him? I agree as well, and that's why I believe this case was self-defense. From what facts are out, it's clear he was protecting himself. He definitely knew there was a potential for violence while he was down there, thus why he was armed. Just like the armed people on the other side of the situation. One side intended to protect the community, and the other intended to destroy it. They clashed and it escalated to violence. But he was not the instigator, and attempted to flee before being put in a life or death situation, so it resulted in self-defense. I didn't vote in 2016 and I don't particularly care for Trump. He's clearly made some idiotic remarks (some truly idiotic, and others taken out of context), but I personally expected that from him. He's brash as hell, and not a smooth-talking, long-standing politician. If he were, he'd fly more under the radar like past Presidents. Shit, he'd be in much better shape if he just never used Twitter. I don't think he deserves quite as much hatred as he receives, and I don't think his universally good policies are recognized. People want him out by any means necessary, and it's clear how far some are willing to go to make it happen. For better or worse. There seems to be some comfort in getting a traditional long-standing, smooth-talking politician back into office, though I wouldn't classify Joe Biden as "smooth-talking". This election is incredibly tough since both parties have clear issues, but it seems that the continued riots/crime in major Democratic cities aren't doing Biden/Harris any favors. The line between protests and riots is very blurred and it's causing people to choose the party who most openly opposes the criminal activity. Hiring a 17 yr old cross State lines to defend property with an assault rifle? Sounds legit. Don't think he was "hired". Again, irrelevant since he didn't discharge his weapon in defense of property. (For what, the third time now?) Crossing state lines is not relevant either as it was only ~20 miles, the kid worked in the city (and had worked earlier that day), and the gun didn't cross.
